What is Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)?
Safety features like collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane assistance and blind spot detection all rely on a combination of sensors across the car - The system that controls these sensors is known as the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS for short).
ADAS also controls things like adaptive cruise control, automatic headlights and parking assist too, so these days its pretty essential to the car.
